Engagement Shoot at Turahalli Forest Bangalore

Most people drive past Turahalli without a second thought. It sits quietly on the edge of Bangalore — dry, rocky, unhurried. A forest that doesn't announce itself.

I chose it. I always choose forests when I can.

Light falls differently here. Through the canopy in long shifting shafts, catching dust, turning everything amber and slow. It has a way of making people forget themselves — forget the camera, forget to perform. That's what I'm after.

Priyanka and Kartik had never been photographed together before. Most couples haven't. And there's always a moment at the start of a shoot where you can feel it — the slight stiffness, the not-quite-knowing-what-to-do-with-your-hands. We walked the trails, talked, laughed at nothing in particular. By the time the light was right, they'd forgotten I was working.

That's the real value of an engagement shoot — not just the photographs, but what it does for your wedding day. By the time you walk down the aisle, you already know your photographer. You know how they move, what they need, when to ignore them entirely. That comfort shows in every frame.

Turahalli did the rest. I just kept shooting.

Want to feel completely relaxed in front of the camera on your wedding day? It starts here. Let's plan your engagement shoot.
